- Our factory will make necessary deductions for a perfect fit.
- Do not make your own deductions or add to the width.
- For more light coverage, consider an outside mount.
- See the chart for specific deductions per collection (may vary +/- 1/8").
Measurement
Inside Mount
Inside mount measurements provide a clean, integrated look by fitting within the window frame. Accurate measurements ensure a perfect fit.
Depth Requirements
- Ensure your window is deep enough for an inside mount.
- Check the product’s "Description" tab on the information page for specific depth requirements.
Measuring the width
- Measure the width from the inside edge of the window frame at the top.
- If you get a 1/16” or 1/32” increment, round down to the nearest 1/8” (e.g., 24 9/16" rounds down to 24 1/2").
- This is the width you will order.
Measuring the Height
- Measure the height of the window opening from top to bottom at the top left, center, and top right.
- Use the largest measurement.
- Round up to the nearest 1/8” if needed (e.g., 24 9/16" becomes 24 5/8").
- Use this height for ordering.

Outside Mount
Outside mount measurements cover the entire window and frame, offering better light control and privacy. Accurate measurements ensure proper coverage.
Flat Surface Requirements
- Determine where you want to mount the shades.
- Ensure you have at least 3/4" of flat space.
- Check the product’s "Description" tab on the information page for specific mounting requirements.
Measuring the width

- Add a minimum of 4 inches (2 inches on each side) to ensure proper coverage.
- This is the width you will order.
Measuring the Height
- Measure the height of the window from top to bottom at the top left, middle, and top right, ending at the bottom of the sill.
- Use the largest measurement.
- Add a minimum of 4 inches (2 inches for the top and 2 inches for the bottom) to ensure proper coverage.
- Use this final number for ordering.
