Double-width
For the grommet header style, if the curtain finished length is over 102 inches, then the maximum finished single curtain width without a seam is 105.9 inches. If the curtain length is less than 102 inches, there is no seam for any curtain finished width. Otherwise, the width needs to be double-wide with a vertical seam.
Curtain Care
Cleaning Instructions:
We recommend dry cleaning only for your velvet curtains to maintain their best condition. Machine washing or hand washing is not recommended in order to protect the integrity and appearance of the fabric.
For localized stains, it is advised to spot clean with a damp cloth. However, ensure you conduct a test in a less visible area of the curtain before treating the stain on the main area.
Maintenance:
Regular maintenance can keep your velvet drapes looking their best. Light vacuuming with a soft brush attachment is recommended to remove dust without damaging the fabric.
Wrinkle Care and Ironing:
Velvet may wrinkle. If your curtains need ironing, it can be done on a medium-high temperature setting suitable for velvet, with the option of using steam or dry iron. Once properly ironed, the curtains will achieve a smooth, wrinkle-free appearance.
Sun Protection:
Velvet curtains do not require special protection against sunlight exposure. They are designed with good sunlight resistance and can withstand sunlight without sustaining damage, ensuring long-lasting color and fabric integrity.
Following these guidelines will help maintain the aesthetic appeal and longevity of your velvet curtains, contributing to a stylish and comfortable ambiance in your space.

FAQ
What is stacking width?
Normally stacking width accounts for 20% of the ordered width. So we would like to remind you that if you want the window opening to show completely when the drapery is opened, please make sure to consider stacking width when you decide on rod length.
What size is needed to be sewn with double width?
For the grommet header style, if the curtain finished length is over 102 inches, then the max finished single curtain width without seam is 106 inches; if the curtain length is less than 102 inches, no seam for any curtain finished width.
Otherwise, the width needs to be double-wide with a vertical seam.
How do you accurately measure the required length for curtains?
To accurately determine the needed length for your curtains, start measuring from the bottom of the curtain ring down to where you want the curtains to end. If you prefer floor-length curtains, measure down to the floor, leaving a gap of 1 to 2 centimeters to prevent the curtains from dragging on the ground. For window sill length, the measurement should end 1 to 2 centimeters below the sill. To ensure accuracy, it's advisable to measure at several different points around the window to account for any unevenness in the floor or slight differences in the installation points.
